Hantech Medical China and Italy, United as One: Sharing the Joy of Reunion

For Hantech Medical, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival was particularly special.

The Hantech teams in China and Italy celebrated this festival of reunion in their own ways.

1. Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival, Sharing the Same Sentiment

As the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, Hantech China presented mooncakes to all colleagues, sharing the warmth of the season. Meanwhile, on September 25, the Hantech Italy team gathered for a special retirement surprise party. Coinciding with the Mid-Autumn Festival, this gathering also marked the first time the Hantech Italy team celebrated the festival together in this way.

There is an Italian saying: “You don't grow old sitting around a table.” Sitting together, chatting, sharing updates and enjoying one another's company — this appreciation for togetherness resonates with the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and its celebration of reunion. A mooncake and a party brought the teams in China and Italy closer, connecting them through a shared sentiment.

Mid-Autumn Festival Wishes from Hantech Italy

A long-serving colleague at Hantech Italy:

“I'm very happy to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with my colleagues. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to everyone, and I look forward to continuing to work side by side in the future.”

A new colleague at Hantech Italy:

“This is my first time learning about the Mid-Autumn Festival. I'm very happy to have joined Hantech and to have met our colleagues in China. Happy holidays to all our colleagues in China!”

2. Nearly Four Decades Together: Thank You for the Journey

The guest of honour at the surprise party was Paolo Cattozzo, who has worked at the Italian factory for nearly four decades. With his official retirement approaching in two months, the team selected a bottle of wine for him in recognition of Italy's local wine culture and to offer their early retirement wishes.

At the party, colleagues shared memories of their years working together. Their time together had created more than professional achievements — it had also built trust, friendships and lasting memories. Paolo thanked everyone for their support over the years and expressed how much he valued his time at Hantech Medical Italy. He said he hoped to stay in touch after retirement and would continue to follow the company's development.

Hantech Medical Italy CEO Emily presented Paolo with a retirement gift, and they posed for a commemorative photo.

3. Bringing Cultures Closer Through Shared Experiences

On the day of the Italian factory handover in December 2024, Paolo, Annamaria and Paola were selected for an exchange visit to Hantech China. Colleagues at Hantech Italy had long been curious about China and eager to visit Hantech China in person and connect face to face with their Chinese colleagues.

In May 2025, Paolo and other Italian colleagues travelled to China with their accompanying family members. They visited Hantech China, met with the Chinese team, made dumplings together and experienced Tai Chi. These reciprocal visits and shared activities brought the teams in China and Italy even closer.

In November 2025, Hantech Italy held a Family Open Day at its factory, attended by nearly 200 Italian colleagues and family members. Representatives from Hantech China joined their Italian colleagues and families for a memorable day together.

4. Growing Together Through China–Italy Collaboration

Since Hantech Medical acquired the Italian factory in December 2024, the Hantech Italy team has grown from 125 to 141 employees. We value the contributions of our long-serving colleagues while continuing to welcome new talent.

Looking ahead, Hantech Medical will continue to strengthen collaboration between China and Italy, fostering innovation while building on experience and growing through partnership. Together, we will provide global customers and partners with safer, more effective and more economical products and service solutions.
